In Him is Life
In John 1, Jesus is revealed not merely as part of life, but as the very source of life itself. He is the Creator who gives us existence, the Light who brings joy into our darkest moments, the One whose wisdom can protect and extend our lives, and the only Savior who offers everlasting life.
This message challenges us to stop treating Jesus as an occasional part of our week and instead recognize Him as the center of every day, every decision, and every hope. Whatever darkness we face, there is something about Jesus that can brighten it, because in Him is life.
The Battle Before Us
Every soldier must recognize when the call to battle has sounded. This message exposes the seriousness of the spiritual warfare taking place around us and challenges believers to recognize the enemy's strategies without becoming intimidated by his attacks. God calls His people to wake up, suit up, and stand ready for the conflict before them.
Standing Firm in Battle
The Christian life involves a spiritual conflict that cannot be fought in human strength. In this opening message, we discover the reality of our enemy, the source of our strength, and God's command to stand firm. Before examining each piece of spiritual armor, we must understand that victory begins by depending upon the power of the Lord rather than ourselves.
Serving Christ in Everyday Life
Most of life is lived in ordinary places, but the Gospel gives extraordinary purpose to ordinary work. Drawing from Ephesians 6:5–9 and Colossians 3, this message explores how following Christ transforms the way we work, lead, serve, and treat others. When we recognize Christ as our true Master, even the most routine responsibilities become opportunities to glorify God and display the transforming power of the Gospel.
Wholehearted Obedience
Why we work matters even more than what work we do. In Ephesians 6:5–8, Paul shows how the Gospel transforms our attitudes, motivations, and obedience in everyday life. Whether our work is noticed or overlooked, exciting or ordinary, believers are called to serve wholeheartedly with integrity because ultimately we are not merely working for people but rather serving Christ.
A Father’s Calling
God has given fathers an enormous responsibility to not merely control behavior, but to nurture, discipline, and disciple their children in a way that reflects His own heart. From Ephesians 6:4, this message examines the dangers of misused authority and the calling to parent with consistency, tenderness, truth, and grace. The ultimate goal of fatherhood is to point children toward a Heavenly Father who is worthy of their trust.
Children and the Gospel
What should the Gospel look like inside the Christian home? In Ephesians 6:1–3, Paul calls children to obedience while reminding families that genuine transformation goes much deeper than outward behavior. This message explores how truth, obedience, forgiveness, and grace work together to produce gospel-shaped homes where children are pointed beyond good behavior to their need for Christ.
Marriage: God’s Design
In a culture where marriage is continually being redefined, Ephesians 5:31–33 calls us back to God’s original design. This message explores the theology, unity, loyalty, intimacy, priority, and sanctity of biblical marriage. More than simply a relationship between husband and wife, marriage is designed by God to make Christ visible and display the Gospel to a watching world.
Loving Like Christ
What does it really mean for a husband to love his wife as Christ loved the church? From Ephesians 5:25–33, this message challenges husbands to move beyond self-centered ideas of love and embrace a love that is sacrificial, intentional, and spiritually focused. Ultimately, biblical marriage is about more than becoming a better spouse. It is about displaying the love of Christ and the beauty of the Gospel.
Christ-Centered Pattern for Marriage
In Ephesians 5:22–24, Paul presents a view of marriage that often stands in sharp contrast to our culture. This message examines biblical submission in light of the Fall, God’s created order, and the relationship between Christ and His church. Discover how marriage, when shaped by God’s Word and empowered by His grace, can become a beautiful testimony of the Gospel and point others to Christ.
Submission, Scripture & the Savior
In a culture increasingly confused about authority, identity, and marriage, God’s Word gives us a clear and unchanging foundation. In this message from Ephesians 5, we explore how biblical submission flows from our relationship with Christ, why the authority of Scripture matters, and how God designed marriage to reflect the beautiful relationship between Christ and His church. Ultimately, the question is not whether God’s design is easy or popular, but whether we will trust His Word and submit our lives to Christ.
Thankful Because He Lives
This concluding message connects gratitude to the resurrection of Christ, showing how thankfulness flows from God’s sovereignty and victory over death. Because Jesus lives, believers can give thanks in all circumstances, trusting that God is working all things for good. The resurrection transforms sorrow into joy and fuels a life marked by hope and gratitude.
Walking in the Spirit
The Spirit-filled life is one of surrender and divine control rather than self-effort. As believers yield to the Holy Spirit and are shaped by God’s Word, their lives begin to reflect worship, joy, and transformation. True spiritual power comes not from striving, but from dependence on the Spirit.
Walking in Wisdom
We are reminded from God’s Word of the importance of living carefully and intentionally in a world filled with distractions and spiritual danger. Wisdom is shown in how we use our time, make decisions, and pursue God’s will in light of eternity. Rather than drifting through life, believers are called to walk thoughtfully, redeeming every moment for God’s purposes.
Let No One Deceive You
Pastor Mark warns against subtle spiritual deception that redefines sin and distorts truth. Believers are called to reject empty words, walk in the light, and remain anchored in the truth of God’s Word. The gospel awakens us from deception and leads us into clarity, repentance, and life.
Walk in Love
As believers we are called to a life shaped by the sacrificial, cross-centered love of Christ rather than cultural definitions of love. Rooted in our identity as God’s children, we are called to pursue holiness in both actions and attitudes. True obedience flows not from striving, but from living out the transforming power of the gospel.
